On October 22, my precious Dinky will be 10 years old. I have been searching for him a birthday present and one of them is this adorable dog collar by Day Dog Designs. There are a lot of cute dog collars on Etsy but I was attracted to this store because of her large variety of cute whimsical designs.
I have always chose collars that predominantly red. I like the way red looks against Dinky's black and white coloring. He also looks good in blues which brings out his pretty blue eyes. I found several collars that I liked at Day Dog Designs, but this one was perfect with the combination of red and blue. It also has the cutest little mouse and mushrooms.
I had "favorited" the item many months ago with the intention of purchasing it for Dinky's birthday, but back in the summer, the store status changed to "vacation." When I read when the status would change, it said possibly mid September into October. The owner had surgery on her hands, with recovering time questionable. I started searching for another collar just in case I was unable to purchase this one. I did find several cute ones, but none that captured my interest as this one did.
I was totally excited about this collar. It is very well made, adjustable, and is even cuter in person than online.

I am super happy with my purchase. Now I'm heading over to order a matching harness.
I have used step-in harnesses for a few years and prefer them over the tradition harness. Now Dinky has an adorable matching harness to go with his cute collar.
I was having a hard time deciding on which collar to order for my other wienie, Toby. I had "favorited" a few designs, but they just weren't grabbing me like the one that I chose for Dinky. A few days after ordering, I noticed that Day Dog Designs had added few new designs, that's when I found the perfect collar for my Tobe.
I love these cute little happy fish! I love the colors too. They are different and they will look wonderful against his dark coat.
As you can see, I ordered a collar and matching harness in the little fish design for Toby. When I ordered them, Terri (owner of Day Dog Designs) was offering a free shipping coupon, which I used, but since I ordered Dink's harness just a few days before, she refunded my shipping and mailed them all together.
