Holiday Laughter

It never fails that I spend the holidays laughing till my sides hurt. I have a wonderful family and friends that I enjoy spending time with. I just wanted to share a few pictures that I've taken over the last few weeks.

We always go to my sister, Tammy's, home for Thanksgiving. We spend the evening sharing what we're thankful for, eating delicous food (too much), and lots of laughing. We also take lots of pictures, usually with everybody having to get the shot with their own camera (very time consuming, but makes us laugh too). This year though, my camera got adjusted to the wrong setting and many of my pictures were too blurry to use.
Dinky was trying to give me doggie kisses.
Me and my guys.
I've always thought of myself as tall being 5'7" but I feel short when my son can prop his chin on my head. He's 6'4".
My son, Zach, decorated our tree for me. I had to let if relax out and after that I lost momentum.
Here's a picture of our tree with the flash off my camera.
Our church always participates in our towns Christmas parade. Here are a few of the kids gathering to get on the float.
Dinky is enjoying his and Toby's early Christmas present.

  1. My son also towers over my 5'7". I believe he's about 6'3" now and lanky like your son. (Isn't it hard to find clothes for the tall, thin ones?) Our daughter (22 years old) is only about 5'4", so if only one of our children could get the tall genes, I'm glad it was the boy!

Great photos. Thanks for sharing them!

  3. It is very hard to find clothes to fit Zach. I don't think my other son will be as tall, but only God knows.

Erin, our dogs are so funny. I laugh at mine all the time and they just turn the eyes to me as if saying "what's so funny?"
