Do you talk about Jesus? Do you spend time in God's Word?
The two go hand-n-hand. If we look at Acts chapter 4, the story is of Peter and John. They had been arrested for preaching the resurrection of Jesus. As they stood before the Sanhedrin, they said:
Acts 4:20
"For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard."
They had been with Jesus and seen His resurrection. The way we see and know Jesus, is by spending time in His Word and prayer. The more you get to know Him, the more we will want to share His love and what He has done for us.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful and a lovely reminder.
ReplyDeleteExcellent reminder. It is hard to speak with authority of someone we are not so familiar with. I love Jesus and am SO thankful for His work on the cross for me.
ReplyDeleteWonderful post!

Thanks for the wonderful reminder!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tisha for the good thought. I do find it hard to talk about Him to others sometimes, and I wish that were not the case.
ReplyDeleteIt is sometimes hard to talk about our wonderful Savior. Sometimes we just have to let His light shine in us.
ReplyDeleteGreat thoughts!

ReplyDeleteI have always enjoyed that song too. God's Word speaks to us as we read it and we can then speak to others.
