My cat's name is Sophie. I honestly cannot remember how we picked her name! She is almost 8 now. I know my mom and I picked the name together, but can't remember where it came from . . .

My cat's name is Luna. I think it was a name from one of my daughters favorite cartoons - Sailor Moon. We found our cat while vacationing in NH - he was abandoned and adopted us.

ReplyDeleteMy cat's name - Nelson - comes from the character on The Simpsons. At the time I acquired him, my other cat, Milhouse, was also named from the show, so it seemed apropos. Nelson lived up to the cartoon character's punk namesake for a few years, but has mellowed into a total mama's boy as he has gotten older ;). He loves Greenies, and will wave for them, in fact.
My cat's name is Louie. I started out calling him Luis, but as time went on he just seemed more like a Lou- clumsy but sweet :)

My cat's name is Basil. The first night he stayed with us I was cooking with basil and Basil jumped up onto the counter and decided that he liked basil and took most of it while my back was turned. Since then he was Basil to everyone. He's a beautiful egyptian mau cat.

I have two cats. One is named Little Kitty. Her mom stopped taking care of her so we bottle-fed her and couldn't think of name. We'd been calling her little kitty while trying to think of a name. We never did think of one so the name stuck. My other cat is Lucifer. He is big, fuzzy, black and white, and weights 22 pounds! He's named after the cat in Cinderella because they look alike.

Seven: He was thrown out of a moving car as a kitten and we thought that may have taken 2 of his 9 lives.
Turnip: Shes just wild... no real reason.
Braille: She was a "bum" kitty outside of my work. My lead was hitting her with an umbrella and i heard about it... so i took the day off of work and and took her home with me... i was going to name her "Brella" but Braille stuck.
and my newest addition is ....
Beard Cat! She is crazy and feisty! Furr everywhere! Just seemed to fit!
