Life is God's gift to you...what you do with your life is your gift to God.
I can't remember where I got this quote from, but I often reflect on it, wondering if my life is a good gift or a bad gift.
Matthew 5:16
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."
As children of God, He wants us to be the light He plugs into a world that can be dark and scary. What ways do you let the light of Jesus shine in your life? There are many ways to do this, but I know several of you are artistically talented, creating beautiful works of art, do you give God the credit for your ideas and talent, or do you take the credit for yourself? Giving God credit for our gifts and talents is an awesome way to let the light shine and glorify God. After all He is the creator of all things, shouldn't we give credit with credit is due? I know there are unbelievers who have awesome talent too, but know that it is not in this life that we believers receive our rewards.
Let me challenge you by asking, "does anyone know that you are a light burning with the fire of heaven?"
Beautiful! I am thankful to God for all the gifts he has given me!
